Taste of Canada Campaign in German-speaking markets

Taste of Canada - DACH is an ongoing campaign to promote Canadian food and beverage products and show European consumers in the region the diverse culinary landscape Canada has to offer. The campaign began in 2020 and successfully expanded to all three German-speaking markets in the DACH region (that is, Austria, Germany and Switzerland) in November 2022.

Visit the Taste of Canada (in German only) website to access a virtual product shelf, recipes to entice the at-home chef to try some Canadian delicacies, and information on food and beverage products and each of the provinces and territories. Additionally, you can follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates, Canadian recipes, raffles and promotions. Our current raffle with our partners Air Canada and Bonjour Québec will run until December 31, 2023. You can also participate by signing up for our newsletter on our Taste of Canada (in German only) website (at the bottom of the webpage) and reading our blog (in German only), where Canadian companies and their products are showcased.

We are happy to share that you can find Canadian products on the local e-commerce platform MyEnso (in German only), an online supermarket that ships throughout Germany. If you're a food and beverage distributor and/or importer, you may be interested in our partnership with Gastivo (in German only), a business-to-business platform for ordering food and beverage products for the gastronomy sector. Gastivo currently has over 12,000 gastronomes registered across Germany.
